This Privacy Policy explains how PaceBeat (“the App”), operated by Digital Twins LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information. It applies to all users of PaceBeat on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

This data is used to provide core functions of the app (run tracking, pace/cadence analytics, maps).
2.3 Health & Fitness Data
Collected through your device sensors or OS APIs (where permissions are granted):
- Steps
- Pace
- Cadence
- Other run-related metrics (time, distance, speed, etc.)
We do not collect medical records or clinical health data. All fitness data is used only to provide and improve app functionality and analytics.
Automatically collected for analytics and advertising:
- Device model, operating system, and app version
- IP address and general region (not exact address)
- Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
- Crash logs and performance data
2.5 Purchase History
Collected when you make in-app purchases or subscriptions:
- Purchase type (e.g., subscription tier, upgrade)
- Transaction status (successful/failed)
- Non-sensitive purchase metadata (via RevenueCat and app stores)
We do not process or store full payment card numbers; payments are handled by Google Play, Apple App Store, and RevenueCat.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:

- Track runs, cadence, pace, and related performance metrics
- Display maps and GPS-based statistics
- Maintain your account, preferences, and training history
- To improve and personalize the App
- Analyze usage patterns to improve features and performance
- Customize in-app experience based on your activity

- Use device and ad-related information to show relevant ads via Google AdMob
- To manage subscriptions and purchases
- Verify purchases, manage subscription status, and restore purchases using RevenueCat

- Database / Cloud Storage (storing user profile data, run history, metrics)
Firebase may process:
- Email, user ID, device info, in-app events
5.2 Google AdMob (Advertising)
Used to display ads for free users.
AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID
- Device information, approximate location, app usage data
This data can be used to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your choices and regional requirements.
You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
5.3 RevenueCat (In-App Purchases & Subscriptions)
Used to:
- Validate and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Sync entitlements across devices
RevenueCat receives purchase-related data from app stores (order IDs, product IDs, subscription status) but does not receive your full payment card information.
5.4 Google Maps (Location Services)

Google Maps may receive your location data or map requests to provide map tiles, routes, and related services.
6. Ads and Analytics
6.1 Advertising
- The App contains ads for free users via Google AdMob.
- Ads may be personalized based on your activity, device, and ad settings.

- Change ad personalization in your Google account or device settings.
- Use an ad-free subscription if available (through in-app purchases).
6.2 Analytics
We may use Firebase and other tools to:

- Account data & run history: Kept while your account is active.

- Logs & analytics data: Retention durations may vary based on our providers’ default policies.
When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.
8. How We Protect Your Data
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the app and servers
- Secure storage of authentication tokens and user data
- Access controls restricting who can access production systems
However, no system can be 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and notifying us if you suspect any unauthorized access.

PaceBeat is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by law in your region).
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that data.

You can also:
- Disable GPS permission in your device settings to stop location tracking.
- Disable motion/fitness permissions in OS settings.
- Uninstall the app to stop all data collection from that device.
11. How to Delete Your PaceBeat Account
If you want to delete your PaceBeat account and the data associated with it, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to service@digitaltwinsapps.com from the email address linked to your PaceBeat account.
- Use the subject line: “PaceBeat account deletion request”.
- In the body of the email, clearly state that you want your PaceBeat account deleted and include:
- Your PaceBeat account email address
- Any additional information that can help us locate your account (for example, your display name or approximate date of sign-up).
Once we receive your request and verify your identity, we will:
- Delete your PaceBeat account and associated personal information stored in our systems, including your profile, run history, location data, and fitness metrics.
- Remove or anonymize related data from our active databases, except for information we are legally required to retain (for example, limited purchase or transaction records for tax, accounting, or legal obligations).
We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of verifying your request and will notify you by email once the process is complete.
12. International Data Transfers
Our servers and third-party providers (like Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat, Google Maps) may be located in different countries.
This means your data may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own. Where required by law, we will take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (for example, standard contractual clauses).
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:
